A very warm welcome to Our Trust

A Trust formed in April 2014 by Fairchildes Primary School, with our neighbours, Rowdown Primary, joining us in June of the same year. In September 2018, Monks Orchard Primary School in Shirley became the third school in the Trust.
Our motivation for forming the Trust in 2014 was to make a positive difference for the children in our local community.
It is our wish that the educational experience of children attending the schools within the Trust are broadly similar. To this end, whilst retaining our own identity, we work in close partnership to secure the provision of outstanding levels of education for our pupils.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families, staff, volunteers and members of the community who came along and supported our second annual Summer Fair last week! ☀️🎉
It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces enjoying the games, activities, delicious food and entertainment. Your generosity, enthusiasm and support helped make the event another fantastic success.
A special shout-out to our amazing PTA for all of their incredible hard work in organising and running the event. Their time, energy and dedication behind the scenes made everything possible, and we are so grateful for everything they do for our school community.
Thank you also to everyone who helped set up, ran stalls, donated prizes and baked treats—your support is truly appreciated.
We are so proud of our school community and hope you all had a wonderful afternoon making special summer memories. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Summer Fair! 🌞💙 17 Likes

It has been so busy at Monks Orchard recently with trips, visits and the heat so we thought long and hard about the best video to share with you to make up for our absence. We had Outdoor Learning Day in May (luckily not in this heat!) and it was great to use all of the outside space we have at Monks. Every year, a group of our Year 5 children has the wonderful opportunity to spend time with the ladies from St Mark's Church, Biggin Hill, learning to knit.
The sessions are about so much more than knitting. They give our children the chance to chat, laugh and build friendships across the generations, learning from the ladies' wealth of experience and kindness.
The children absolutely love these sessions and gain so much from them. A huge thank you to the fantastic ladies from St Mark's for giving their time so generously—we truly value this special partnership. 🧶❤️ 11 Likes

It was an evening filled with superb singing, outstanding acting, and wonderful dancing. A huge well done to all of our Year 6 pupils for putting on such an incredible performance, and a big thank you to the Year 6 staff for all of their hard work and dedication in organising such a memorable production.
