 An Enhanced Learning Provision for children with ASD

FACT Trust are looking for enthusiastic and skilful teaching assistants to work with pupils in a brand-new section of our enhanced learning provision at Fairchildes. Our new class will cater for children with EHCPs who have a primary diagnosis of ASD.

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and creative people to join the team at Fairchildes.  Some experience of working with pupils with SEND would be beneficial.

Initially our new class will cater for children who are in the reception year group, but plans are for this to expand to cover years R-6.  

TAs should be: 

• Responsible & reliable
• A team player
• Able to relate well to pupils and adults
• Able to use their initiative

Teaching Assistant

Start date:  September 1st 2024

Contract type: 26 hours per week.

Salary: NJC Grade 2 Scp 3-5 depending on experience  

Contract term: Fixed Term for 1 year from starting date.
