Welcome to Rowdown Primary.  We are a warm, positive and welcoming primary school that sits at the heart of our local community. Our aim for your child is clear and simple; to give them the very best start in life, acquiring knowledge and behaviours for learning that they will need in order to lead happy and meaningful lives, full of choice and opportunity. 

While education opens doors, it is not enough on its own. We aim for our children to leave Year 6 with the resilience and work ethic they need to succeed and the desire to do so.  We want them to experience a range of enriching learning experiences, developing new interests and passions. We support their personal development through a variety of exciting clubs, activities and citizenship opportunities and have a values based culture, where pupils take ownership of the choices they make.
