Science
Science Vision
Here at Rowdown Primary School the teaching of Science encourages a love of learning and connects the children to the world around them. In Science we start with the children’s questions. Children are encouraged to express their own ideas, choose how to find out about them and make links between their learning. Working scientifically is at the heart of our Science teaching and children explore their ideas through practical, hands on investigations. Learning is collaborative and children are at liberty to express their existing ideas in a nurturing environment. This approach fosters a growth mindset and a resilience that will help the children in their future careers in whatever they choose to be.
